Have you gotten on board with wireless headphones craze? I have had my eye on a pair of wireless headphones for a while now, but it wasn’t until AfterShokz sent me a pair of the limited edition Trekz Titanium Pink wireless headphones to review that I a actually got my hands on a pair. I love the wireless feature of these headphones, but my favorite thing about these headphones has to be the feature that sets AfterShokz apart from the completion.
*AfterShokz sent me a pair of the limited edition Trekz Titanium Pink wireless headphones in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are as always my own.*

AfterShokz Trekz Titanium Pink Wireless Headphones Review
The first feature that jumps out at you is the fact that these headphones are completely wireless. I hadn’t realized just how bothersome head phone cords can be until I went without! As a triathlete I spend a ton of my time exercising and not having cords to get tangled in on a windy run, or get caught up with during a lifting session has been a game changer. If I am being completely honest I thought wireless headphones where cool but it wasn’t until I actually tried a pair that I realized how functional they were!
Long Battery Life
One of my concerns with using a pair of wireless head phones was the length of the battery life. The AfterShokz have delivered well on this one. Evan on my long run when I had forgotten to charge the headphones ahead of time ( a common problem for me) these headphones lasted through the whole run with no issues. Along with a great battery life it is also easy to check your current charge, no surprises during your sweat session. Once these headphones power up they will tell you if the battery is high, medium, or low. According the manufacture these wireless headphones have 6+ hours of battery life while playing tunes, 10 days on standby, and full charge in 2 hours or less.
On my long run field test these head phones were extremely comfortable and stayed in place well. A common problem I have had with headphones in the past is slipping or falling out. These stay perfectly in place. Did I mention I had to #stopdropandyoga during my run? Not only did these headphones stay in place for my long run, they didn’t budge during my handstand or fly crow pose either!
Bone Conduction Technology
One of the unique features of the Trekz Titanium pink wireless headphones is their open ear design. Originally developed for military special ops these head phones have got it going on. They are unlike anything else on the market and this open ear design is by far my favorite feature of these headphones.
These head phones actually sit just in front of your ear using bone conductivity to send sound waves to your ear. What I absalutly love about this feature is that it keeps your ear free to recive information from the outside world. This open ear design allows you to be awear of the people and traffic around you while rocking out to your tunes. As runners it is so importnat for our safty that we stay aweare of our surroundings and the Aftershokz Trekz Titanium definitly took that into account in their design. I absolutely love that these head phones allow me to #beopen and #hearitall
I wasn’t sure how I would like the sound quality on a headphone that didn’t actually have direct contact with my ear but it turns out the sound quality was actually quite good. As mentioned above one of the features I particularly liked about these wireless headphones is that you are able to stay aware of your surroundings, with that in mind the sound is not as loud as you might get with a traditional headphone and it certainly does not block out the noise from the world, but that is exactly the point. You are able to enjoy good tunes while also staying safe on your runs. For me these head phones fit my needs perfectly. For those of you looking to really tune out the world they do come with ear plugs and a feature that allows you to optimize the sound for earplug use.
The limited edition Trekz Titanium Pink wireless hheadphones are IP55 rated, which means they can take the sweat! While you can technically hose them down they are not approved for your swim workouts. Sweat and rain on those long runs though? You are good to go!
